No item song for Nayanthara in Billa 2

She came back after a long break but the actress still seems to be able to call the shots in the film industry.  Despite starring as the leading lady in the first edition of Billa, Nayanthara reportedly went ahead to turn down an offer to sizzle in an item number in the upcoming Ajith-starrer Billa II. Since her comeback to tinsel town in January, the actress is picking and choosing her projects carefully. And despite her rumoured fee of Rs 1.25 crore per flick, whether it's Tamil or Telugu, filmmakers are making a beeline for her as they feel she's a far better bet than the new lot of heroines who can't assure them of a draw at the BO.  While she's signed on Ajith and Arya's films in Tamil, she has three movies opposite Rana Daggubati, Nagarjuna and Gopichand in Telugu. Nayan was also the hot favourite for Boologam with Jayam Ravi but the buzz is that she didn't sign it on due to remuneration issues. And as CT had stated earlier, she is also one of the frontrunners for Vidya Balan's Kahaani remake in Tamil.
