Ajith`s Billa 2 may have carry mixed reports but has taken an earth shaking opening at the CBO. From approximately 50 screens in Chennai and suburbs it has grossed a whopping Rs 2.65 Crore, a new record for an Ajith film.
Aascar Films have given it such a wide release that it has been able to get a record opening. Remember Billa 2 with its `A` certificate has to pay 30% as entertainment tax.
Billa 2 is number 1 to 3 in our charts, as nearly 85 % of box-office revenue at CBO this week was generated from this film. Naan Ee is at number four and Saif Ali Khan- Deepika Padukone film Cocktail has opened well at number five.
