The producers of Ajith’s Billa 2 are going all out to ensure that the film releases on Thala’s birthday (May 1). During the ‘unofficial strike’ period the unit keeping away from the media glare was shooting in Ramoji Rao studio in Hyderabad!
The reason given out was the producers had a direct tie-up with Ramoji Rao studio which also provided the equipment’s and workers for the shoot. They avoided workers and technicians whose wages were in dispute.
Meanwhile the unit was trying to complete the shoot before the end of the month, so that they can get into post-production by March. The latest news about Billa 2 is that actor Sriman has joined the crew of the film. Remember Sriman in a brief but hilarious role rocked in Kanchana.
Billa 2 directed by Chakri Toleti has Ajith, Parvathy Omanakuttan, Bruna Abdullah, Prabhu,Rahman and Vidyut Jamwal in the cast.
The film has music by Yuvan Shankar Rajaand camera by RD Rajasekhar. As of nowBilla 2 is confirmed for release on May1.
