Ajith going to do a Important Role in Sridevi's English Vinglish?

There is a buzz that Thala Ajith is doing a cameo role in actress Sridevi’s comeback film English Vinglish. Sridevi, after a 14 year sabbatical is acting again in the lead in the film directed by debutant director Gauri Shinde and produced by famous ad man and director Balki.

English Vinglish is about a woman played by Sridevi a housewife, who enrols for an English speaking course in order to please her husband and family. The film is being dubbed into Telugu and Tamil languages and will release simultaneously along with the Hindi version on September 21.

The film also features French actor Mehdi Nebbou, Adil Hussain and Priya Anand. Amitabh Bachchan will be making a guest appearance in the Hindi version of the film. Ajith is supposed to be doing the role done by Amitabh in the Tamil and Telugu version.

Balki had come to Chennai a few weeks back and met up with Ajith who had like his Hindi films like Cheeni Kum and Paa. Ajith also liked all the ad films hehad made including the recent Rajesh Khanna fan ad.

Ajith is the past has made a special appearance in Santosh Sivan directed Shah Rukh Khan’s Asoka. Ajith is likely to do the cameo shoot in Mumbai next week.
