If there’s any couple that looks made for each other, it’s got to be Ajith and Shalini. Their marriage is rock solid and the couple celebrates their wedding anniversary today and we at sify.com congratulate them.
Ajith married child artist turned popular actress Shalini twelve years back on April 24, 2000. It was a love marriage after a whirlwind courtship during the shoot of their Amarkalam, which led to their marriage. In a way Ajith’s marriage to Shalini made him more mature and focussed in his career. He became one of the biggest stars in the industry and is known today as “the king of opening.”
Ajith is an ideal husband and there is no doubt about it. Being in the film industry, he is never been linked with any actresses. Not a stray incident of the ‘roving eye’; not a spat that was known to the media.
Today they are looked upon as a celebrity couple as their marriage is one of the biggest success stories in Kollywood. They have a daughter Anoushka, who is the apple of their eye.
